Approved the appropriation of 131.5 million to cover damage that will manage the Provincial Councils
The Council of Ministers on April 16 approved the award of special credit in the budget of the Ministry of Territorial Policy, amounting to 131,554,000 euros, for the granting of subsidies to cover damage to infrastructure and municipal facilities and road network of County Councils and Island Councils.
The Council of Ministers on April 16 approved the award of special credit in the budget of the Ministry of Territorial Policy, amounting to 131,554,000 euros, for the granting of subsidies to cover damage to infrastructure and municipal facilities and road network of County Councils and Island Councils.
This measure is referred to in the Royal Decree of this year by extending the scope of the Act, also of 2010, on urgent measures to alleviate the damage caused by forest fires and other natural disasters in several autonomous communities.
The Provincial Councils, Town Councils and Island Councils will be responsible for coordinating and managing aid, together with the Ministry of Planning Policy, under the agreement reached on April 7 meeting in the Ministry, in which participated the FEMP and attended, as well as delegates of the Government of the Autonomous Communities, several Presidents of County Councils, in particular those of Barcelona, Toledo, Orense, Salamanca, Cordoba, Albacete, Badajoz, Caceres, Guadalajara, Jaén, Málaga, Teruel and Zamora.
