The FEMP participate in the Public Employment Observatory
Local governments will participate, through the FEMP, the Public Employment Observatory, created by the last Council of Ministros.Este body is a tool for Human Resources Strategic Planning, which will collect, analyze and disseminate information on the current situation Employment in public administration, and design models that place prospective public employment conditions adequately address future needs.
Its functions include those of diagnostic studies in human resources and the monitoring of the quality of services and public employment. Shall analyze and make proposals and recommendations on public employment of all the Public Administrations and will be a forum for exchange and communication of relevant information between them.
With this, the Centre will conduct a thorough diagnosis of the situation of employment in government and determine how you can get the best return on human capital working in government, in the interest of citizens.
The Public Employment Observatory is an inter-collegiate body under the Ministry of the Presidency, through the Secretary of State for Public Service, and has a sitting with representatives of the State General Administration of the Autonomous Communities and Cities of Ceuta and Melilla and Local Government, through the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces. Also involved are representatives of Trade Unions present at the General Trading Bureau of Public Administration.
The composition and functioning of the Centre will also form working groups to facilitate their operations.
The creation of a Centre of this nature has been a demand in recent years, which was contained in the Government-Trade Agreement for the Civil Service under the social dialogue 2010-2012, of September 25, 2009. With the creation of this body is fulfilling that commitment.
