Equality in the construction of local model of the XXI Century
XXI Century municipalism not be understood without a vision of equality, and emphasized by the Mayor of Albacete, Carmen Oliver, MUNICIPIA at the meeting that the city of La Mancha received last March 9. During the meeting, as well as the Mayor of Albacete, addressed by representatives of the organizers, including the Chairman of the Committee on Cooperation of the FEMP and Mayor Collado-Villalba, José Pablo González Durán, who referred in his speech to centennial celebration of International Women's Day, and the excellent chance that the meeting MUNICIPIA is to "reaffirm the commitment of local governments with the struggle to eradicate poverty, promote sustainable development and effective equality of opportunity between women and men.
