FEMP condolences on the passing of the Spanish Civil Guard in Afghanistan
The President of the FEMP, Pedro Castro, has written to Interior Minister Alfredo Perez Rubalcaba, to express the sorrow of the Spanish Local Governments at the death of two Civil Guards and his interpreter, a Spanish citizen, in Badghis Province in Afghanistan today after being shot by an Afghan police training.
In its communication the President of the FEMP, has conveyed the appreciation of local governments with the task of training the Spanish Civil Guard is playing in that country. Pedro Castro has also requested the Minister of Interior to transfer the feeling of pain to the families of the victims and members of the force stationed in Afghanistan.
