Congress endorses the decree on deficit reductio
The Plenary of the Congress of Deputies ratified the Royal Decree on urgent action for reducing the deficit, by 169 votes to 168 against and 13 abstentions.
Voted for the PSOE deputies, against the PP, PNV, ERC-IU-ICV, Na-Bai and UPyD, and have refrained the CiU, CC and UPN.
Congress also rejected by 168 votes to 169 against and 13 abstentions the processing of the decree as a bill, so that groups can not make amendments to the text of the Government.
