Approved proceedings Act 2010, the Sustainable Development of Rural


The Government has approved the 2010 schedule of planned actions under the Law for Sustainable Rural Development, with the "road map" for this year which includes the development of Area Plans with participation of local corporations.


The programming includes the steps required for approval by the Council of Ministers of the Sustainable Rural Development Program as a Royal Decree, whose application will benefit some two hundred rural, representing about two thirds of the country.
The Agreement of the Council of Ministers included in an annex to the "road map" for 2010 in which the proceedings are related to remaining approval of the Program in Council of Ministers, scheduled for early July.
Conclusion
The "Road Map" envisages steps to take after adoption of the Sustainable Rural Development Program, with the deployment of consultation with the Autonomous Communities and the development of Area Plans, one for each territory, in view of their unique circumstances and needs.

In the process of developing Area Plans will require extra effort from the Autonomous Communities for them to be developed under the principles of sustainability, the multi-sectoral and real and effective participation of local and economic, social and environment of each area.
Within the time limits, have provided at the end of 2010 all Area Plans approved all protocols and cooperation agreements signed with the Autonomous Communities, and mobilized the allocations of the State General Administration for the first installment in the actions co-financed.
Performance report
In the performance report of 2009 is developing the set of actions undertaken during the past year, in accordance with the "Roadmap" approved by the Council of Ministers, which included the adoption of common criteria for the definition and classification of rural areas of application, the concerted work of drafting the Sustainable Rural Development Program coordinated by the Ministry of Environment and Rural and Marine, with sixteen ministerial departments involvement and participation, both of the seventeen autonomous communities, as many sectors and social groups involved, the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces.
