The FEMP is added to the official mourning for those killed in Afghanistan
The FEMP has invited the Spanish Local Governments to join the official mourning declared by the Government today following the death in Afghanistan of the Civil Guards and José María Córdoba Galera Picallo Leoncio Bravo in a terrorist attack that also killed his translator, Taefik Ataol Alili.
The declaration of official mourning, contained in today's edition of the Gazette (see attached) states that "from 00 am to 24 of August 26, the national flag will fly at half mast on buildings public and Navy ships.
The President of the FEMP, Pedro Castro, has made this appeal to all local Spanish officials, while reiterated its regret and condemnation of this terrorist act against the Spanish Security Forces
