The Area of Community Associations mainly aims to promote local policies that facilitate joint action among Spanish municipalities.
To favour this goal, the Commission of Community Associations considers it a priority to generate a permanent debate on the problems of these local entities, regions and metropolitan areas, bringing forward proposals and initiatives that can contribute towards a response to the needs of Spanish municipalities. Moreover, it represents a mode for the participation and representation of these in the FEMP and in State Administration Agencies related to local policies.
